The final day of India Kids Fashion Week 2015 in
Mumbai witnessed renowned designers and brands showcasing their range of
exclusive apparel for kids. The children looked ready to conquer the world as
they walked the ramp with utmost elegance looking spectacular in their
respective shows. The shows on Day 2 included Barbie, Pooja Jhunjhunwala for
PARA, Kidzania Parade, Era creation, Max Retail, Brown Bows, Oks Boys and
Vikram Phadnis. The event was attended by renowned stalwarts from the
fashion industry, celebrities, supportive parents and joyful children.
After a fun-filled first day, the final day of the
India Kids Fashion Week in Mumbai was even more magical and exciting. The
revelers on the first row were seen cheering the confident and talented kids
who were accompanied by celebrities on the ramp. The event provided an ideal
platform for designers to showcase their exquisite creations for kids. The
event did not just see designers showcase their kids' creations, but brands as
well who displayed apparel, shoes, toys, accessories and lots more.
Day 2 started with the brand Barbie showcasing some lovely creations
from their new collection. Barbie has been an iconic brand for more than 50
years and has been extremely popular amongst young girls. She has always
encouraged little girls to live their dream which is synonymous with their
brand message, “With Barbie, Anything is Possible.” The collection at IKFW
highlighted Barbie’s signature style through its themes which are pink,
playful, iconic, luxe and full of sparkle-shine called Born to Bloom, Hello
Malibu, Pinkerrific, Sweet Socialite. The range
includes casual dresses, tops, tees,
skirts, a perfect amalgamation of fashion and comfort for girls. This range is
readily available at leading retail stores and at Barbie Stores across the
country. Popular child star, Amrita
Mukherjee walked the ramp looking lovely in her attire from the Barbie
collection.
Para is a
company started by duo sister- Pooja Jhunjhunwala and Rachna Pujara. Both
sisters have worked under ace designers like Arjun Khanna, Payal Singhal, Rocky
S, and currently working for Dubai based designer ' Varoin Marwah.' Para deals
in designing high couture and casual wear for boys between the age groups of 2
to 10 years. They displayed some stunning creations from their collection
leaving the audience spellbound.
Kidzania is the global indoor theme park for kids aged between 4 to 16
years. Kidzania is built like a city across 75,000 sq. ft. where children can
independently explore and choose to role-play from 90 exciting careers like a
pilot, surgeon, radio jockey, chef, fire-fighter and many more. Kidzania
emulates the workings of a city with a functioning economy and its own
currency. Currently, there are 18 Kidzania facilities in 15 countries. Rohit Verma was seen walking the ramp
with his kid for Kidzania.
Pooja Creations’ ERA, barely a 10 year old brand has a pan India presence in more than
700 premium MBO’s and chain stores. The brand is also internationally present
in parts of UK and Canada. The brand is the brain child of Mr. Nikhil Furia
& Amit Furia, who in 2005 decided to backward integrate from retailing and
start manufacturing premium ethnic wear for girls and have never looked back
since. Renowned actress Smita
Bansal was seen encouraging little kids while she looked splendid
walking the ramp for ERA.

wowed the crowd with his charming looks and walked the ramp for Brown Bows
along with child showstopper Shivansh
Kotia of Yeh Risha Kya Kehlata Hai fame. Kids of celebrities including
Sudhanshu Pandey, Tanaaz Currim and Deepshikha Nagpal also got the feel of the
fashion runway as they walked for Brown Bows.
OKS Boys & Juniors is a brand that pride themselves in bringing innovative concepts
to the fore, designed exclusively for little boys. They have added a fun
element to the kids wear business and have carved a niche for themselves in the
children wear segment. Exclusively engaged in innovation with children wear,
they have consolidated their status ever since, and are known for their fun,
colourful and quality designs. Gautam
Rode accompanied the kids as the showstopper for OKS Boys & Juniors.
The show concluded with the showcase of a spectacular collection
by celebrity designer Vikram Phadnis. Having been associated with
the fashion industry for many years now, Vikram has designed for many celebrities like Malaika Arora Khan in the past.
The little kids looked absolutely fabulous in his creations at IKFW 2015. Ace
comedy prodigy, Guthi walked the
ramp for Vikram Phadnis and was seen having a great time with the kids on the
ramp.
